IntelliUML Teresa is an intelligent UML modelling tool focused on Java™ and tightly integrated with IntelliJ™ IDEA.

IntelliUML Teresa is provided as a plug-in for IntelliJ™ IDEA.

System requirements

IDEA Version IDEA 5
JDK Version JDK 1.4.x or 1.5.x
Operating System Windows NT/2000/XP, Linux and OS X. Other operating systems might work but are not officially supported.

Installation

  1. Close all running instances of IDEA.
  2. Remove any previous versions of IntelliUML Teresa from IDEA_CONFIG_PATH/plugins.
  3. Unpack the previously downloaded file into any directory (we'll refer to this directory as TERESA_HOME).
  4. Copy TERESA_HOME/plugin/teresa (including subdirectories) to IDEA_CONFIG_PATH/plugins.
  5. Copy license key file 'teresa.license' to IDEA_CONFIG_PATH/plugins/teresa.
  6. Restart IDEA.
Note
Since IDEA 4.5 third party plugins should go into IDEA_CONFIG_PATH/plugins (this directory is automatically created when the first plugin is installed with the Plugin Manager), and IDEA_HOME/plugins should be used only by preinstalled (bundle) plugins.

If you have downloaded IntelliUML Teresa via File | Settings | IDE | Plugins, the plugin will be available after a restart.

You will need a valid license to activate IntelliUML Teresa.
