Auto Layout

This section explains how to arrange automatically Class Diagram elements using the Lay out Diagram feature.

Lay out Diagram

To automatically lay out a Class Diagram:

  1. Open, or set the focus to, the desired Class Diagram.
  2. Activate the Selection Tool Selection Tool, if it wasn't already.
  3. Either:
    • click somewhere in the empty space of the diagram drawing area and invoke Tools | Lay out Diagram.
      or
    • right-click on the diagram and invoke Lay out Diagram from the pop up menu.

    • click somewhere in the empty space of the diagram drawing area and press Ctrl + Alt + L.
