User Interface

Upon IntelliUML Teresa started a new tool window will show up on the right side of IDEA's frame window.

The IntelliUML Teresa tool window is divided in two, with the Model Explorer at the top and the Diagram Navigator and Properties panel at the bottom.

  • Model Explorer: a view of the UML repository content (i.e., model elements) displayed in a tree-like structure, and also used to navigate throughout the repository.
    Go to section "Model Explorer" to learn how to use the Model Explorer.
  • Diagram Navigator: shows a preview of the whole diagram (a.k.a. bird view) to help to have a complete view of the diagram at any time, and also to quickly navigate to any part of the diagram.

  • Properties: viewer and editor of the selected model element (in Model Explorer or Diagram Editor) properties.

The other main graphical component used in IntelliUML Teresa is the Diagram Editor, described in sections "Diagram Editor", "Class Diagram Editor" and "Sequence Diagram Editor".
